Pros

New owners promoting a robust initiative to bring the girl with the umbrella into the 21st century. New managers from the outside that are listening to employees and open to change. A solid and stable business with one of most recognized and respected consumer products brand icon in the country. A refreshing new view that change and the the "blame game" are incompatible.

Cons

Less patience with mediocrity and tolerance for less than 100% commitment to results. Personal performance metrics can be challenging. Base business in mature markets without tremendous organic growth potential.

Only the young management pets will rise

Pros

When employees are depressed to come to work with no hope of a future there are no pros.

Cons

For years new jobs were never posted and employees not in the know only found out about job openings when a new person started. When the company "open posted" the jobs they still excluded those they did not want to talk to. Employees are left for years in a job with no product or company education even when employees beg for it because he/she want to do a good job. HR is horrible and they all know who issues their paycheck. They do not care about employees.
