This used to be a good place to work.

Pros

Better than average pay for the geographic area and that is about all.

Cons

A very poor relationship exists between senior management and the rest of the workforce. Decision making, process change, etc. are driven from the top down with no input from those affected. Woe be it to anyone who dares to question these decisions, senior leadership has effectively run out anyone who was there prior to their arrival and dared to question what is happening. The relationship relationship with hourly employees is the most contentious one that I have experienced. There is little consideration given to morale and employee satisfaction. In essence hourly employees are treated as automatons built to do the bidding of company. When a tradesman complained about company demands ruining his family life he was told point blank."...that if his family was that important he should consider other employment."

Pros

When employees are depressed to come to work with no hope of a future there are no pros.

Cons

For years new jobs were never posted and employees not in the know only found out about job openings when a new person started. When the company "open posted" the jobs they still excluded those they did not want to talk to. Employees are left for years in a job with no product or company education even when employees beg for it because he/she want to do a good job. HR is horrible and they all know who issues their paycheck. They do not care about employees.
