Pros

Health insurance is good. Working remote is an option.

Cons

You would probably avoid a 2 star restaurant or hotel, so why work for a 2 star business? Mosyle’s CEO and it’s leaders say they care about their employees, but have consistently shown otherwise. - No Raises or Performance Reviews. Do not expect a yearly raise or feedback from your manager or boss. Mosyle does not give performance reviews to all of their employees. How can leadership promote workers without performance reviews? Simple, they choose favorites. - Over Hiring and Firing. Mosyle has fired employees a few months after hiring them. Employees were fired because of irresponsible “over hiring”. No severance pay or PTO cash out. - Micro-Managing and Poor Expectations from Leadership. Leaders will add/change your workload and job expectations without paying you more. If it is too much, well… you know where the door is. Ironically, the CEO of this device management company was against employees working remote. COVID-19 forced the CEO to allow working remote for all employees. - 45-50 Hour Work Weeks. Do not let the salary offer deceive you, Mosyle does not offer overtime pay for additional hours worked. You may feel pressured to work additional hours. - Dead End Job Roles. Upper Leadership may tell you that there are opportunities to move up within the company but the job roles they speak of do not exist or the positions are extremely limited - Little To No Training. Mosyle does not provide consistent updated trainings for its employees. Expect massive amounts of miscommunication between team members and managers. You will probably be blamed for problems outside of your control.

Pros

- Young company with great potential for growth in the expanding Mac MDM space. - Remote first company - Strong private equity backing

Cons

- Culture is too siloed. The various teams within the organization must each receive permission from the CEO before having any communication internally. - CEO/Owner is too whimsical in making decisions. Was hired to build out finance team but CEO decided after three months that he no longer desired to have a finance function. Not a performance or cash flow decision. Just the whim of the CEO. Immediate termination. No severance. Not the type of leadership style that says I care about those who are supporting my vision.
