Pros

Got to work with some of the most talented, dedicated people I know. (This does not include anyone C-Level or above.)

Cons

My first manager was fired abruptly for no clear reason. I was then left without a manager for several months and had little to no guidance or leadership to navigate aspects of my job. I had no career path or opportunities for growth AT ALL. Your only hope is to be there long enough so they change your title and give you a raise...if they don't lay you off first. Their “Core Values” are just empty words framed on the wall. They stressed transparency, yet constantly made false claims and promises to their employees. Bonuses were dangled as an incentive, but repeatedly delayed and then ultimately rescinded. C-Level Executives and above put on this front for investors and employees that they have a great business model and vision, but in reality are just constantly throwing money at new, ill-conceived ideas and schemes with no cohesive planning or execution across necessary departments. Their inability to build any sustainable internal processes severely impacted the work for almost everyone, especially customer facing roles. Contributing to negative customer experiences and internally employee dissatisfaction and frustration. If the current management actually values and believes in the company, they desperately need to bring in leadership with the knowledge and experience to correct the looming issues at hand and guide the company to success. I’m not writing this with a bitter heart, I’m writing this because it’s about principle. I loved working with my co-workers and thoroughly enjoyed what I did. When companies don’t put people first, have extremely poor money and decision management and when leadership doesn’t have a backbone to Advocate for the Users, then why should anyone want to work there?

Pros

Solid pay and good benefits. The individual contributors I worked with were great and the first two levels of management were easy to work with and were always working to help me and the company.

Cons

*This does not reflect the hard decision KT had to make laying off 300+ employees due to COVID -19* Vastly Inferior product compared to competition, despite what they say throughout the interview process. Reliance on overseas call centers that reflect poorly on the entire organization and make the US salespersons job much harder than it needs to be. Poor decision making by upper management - They are becoming more focused on the short term bottom line than creating long term sustainable growth.
