Pros

Free (mediocre) lunch and snacks Decent benefits People

Cons

Lack of leadership and management. Company's goals do not align with projects - each department has their own goals that don't align. No professional growth and for some positions, no clear career path. I would repeatedly ask for feedback and additional work, but management did not have the time to bother with me. I'd also complete projects requested by management, but my work never went anywhere because they did not have the time to review it or implement it. I kept getting back "yeah just do it", and when I would take the initiative, management would tell me to stop Lack of culture. Almost everyone who made KeepTruckin amazing has either left because they were fed up with management or has been let go.

We’re so sorry to hear that this was your experience during your time at KeepTruckin. It is certainly never the experience we want any employee to have. We’re working hard to make sure every employee understands their career ladders for every role in the company and we’ve implemented a comprehensive 360 feedback program for employees. As for your comments regarding management not having the time to bother with you, this does not sound like the kind of culture we strive for at KeepTruckin and we’d love the opportunity to understand this further. If you’re open to it, we ask that you please contact us at opendoor@keeptruckin.com so we can look into this more. Thanks again for the feedback. -Ron Storn, Chief People Officer

Sinking Ship...

Pros

Good benefits. Nice office. Free lunch and snacks.

Cons

Working here made me realize that despite all of the incredibly intelligent and driven employees that work here, an incompetent executive team is more disastrous than all their best efforts. As long as the current leadership team continues to recklessly steer the ship and experience churn, this company will continue to sink. Executive leadership does not know how to lead people, read and understand data, or make good decisions. The majority of the data the leadership team reviews is erroneous, and never questioned. Or, it is manipulated enough to present the desired results. It will be circulated among the executive team or presented to others as fact, but no one knows where it comes from, and the leadership team is unable to answer any basic questions about the source or reliability of any data. Near the end of my time at KeepTruckin, many employees were just “trying to keep their head down and be a yes-man” so as not to ruffle the feathers of their leadership. Your talent will be wasted here when leadership only wants to hear validation that they are right and have the data support their decisions, rather than the other way around and having the strategy supported by credible data and the experienced contributions of the talent they hired. HR is recklessly incompetent with employees’ sensitive information. If you don’t heed the many negative reviews and you do go work here, be sure your insurance options are set up correctly and your elections and contributions are correct. They most likely will not be, and it will take weeks or months of your time to try to fix it and get a reply from HR. Sometimes it might work out in your favor like getting extra contributions that are not taken out of your paycheck and HR does not reply when you try to get it fixed. Other times it may not be favorable, like seeing another employees SSN and personal information associated with your information in their systems. Yikes! Employees were blatantly misled during the hiring process only to come onboard and learn the promises will not come to fruition. Your bonus, compensation, and commissions will be confusing, will change often, and will be promised then taken away. Don’t expect that bonus or any raise - despite the company expecting employees to be available on holidays/weekends/evenings, and often do the job of several roles/people, this company doesn’t see a value in rewarding hardworking and dedicated employees.

Pros

Lot's of really talented people came through KeepTruckin, amazing workplace staff, free lunch, the trucking community, decent product, decent benefits

Cons

Leadership is top heavy and ineffective, don't take responsibility for their own missteps and place blame on ICs for their own failures. Processes were lackluster and directly affected the customer experience. No opportunity for advancement unless you are a yes-man.
