      Pros

      It is a secure job position that allows opportunities to innovate. The office is okay, well lit and temperature controlled but bland. Gives many opportunities to travel and to try your hand at other skills such as customer facing roles.

      Cons

      Training is minimal. There are old fashioned and outdated engineering processes. Seems very hierarchical which means promotions and pay rises are scarce and minimal.

      Competitive compensation and benefits, stable business ensures job security, good experience in the high tech industry

      Cons

      Poor leadership in many key areas, since the recession the business has focused on doing less with more, increasing the workload while not improving benefits or compensation. More jobs are being created overseas than stateside. This has created a gap in product quality, innovative thinking, and the future competitiveness of the company
