      Good place to work but could be better

      Pros

      I really feel that I add value and my opinion counts. Senior management are always looking for better ways to work and support innovation and change to benefit the business. Everyone is very friendly and its a good place to work.

      Cons

      Annual leave could be better for lower grades, employee ownership should be opened up to all staff. Currently only grade e and above are invited to purchase shares - non technical support staff may never get to be shareholders as they are not technical and may never meet the required grade.

      Pros

      I have worked for Mott MacDonald for over 20 years, during that time the company has seen significant change in size, growing enormously. Throughout this change we have maintained our culture of commitment to nurturing staff, maintaining excellent client relationships, delivering very good projects.

      Cons

      The size of the company means we have a larger inertia to overcome to get corporate changes introduced efficiently than we used to which does lead to impatience and frustration amongst staff who simply want to get on with things.

      Opportunity, progression, travel, iconic project exposure, diversity, sustainability, staff owned, inclusive management approach, a company that cares and has a proud and rich pedigree.

      Cons

      Not many although as with any consultancy, work / life balance has good periods and bad periods!
