Pros

Educational training on how to care for our furry friends, alongside quality products for them as well. The people you work with are genuine and professional while still making your everyday work shift fun and full of positivity. One of the better jobs I've held in Seattle.

Cons

I think there should be more oppurtunities for pay increases and bonuses. All in all, one of the best places I've worked for. They take care of their employees.

Pros

Overall, it was a pretty good place to work. If you love animals, you get to be around them all the time. Above minimum wage. I loved my co-workers and most customers were amazing. I started at $13.50/hr and the offer some health benefits for full time employees.

Cons

Not many cons! Different work environment at each location. I worked at one location that was very strict about keeping phones in lockers during work hours. I thought that this was pretty belittling. Just tell you’re employees not to use their phones. I like to keep my phone on me for emergencies. When I switched locations, the environment was much more relaxed and supportive.

Pros

Great role to take on more. Somewhat depends on your manager, but I got to take on training, events, ordering and outreach. The company really cares what they do and cares for their employees

Cons

With the head office in Olympia, job growth really heads to store manager or possibly a trainer. Benefits are only for leadership team.
