Pros

Super motivated and extremely smart people to work with. Challenging tasks which makes you better accomplished. You can choose your work style and whom to be in the company.

Cons

Very challenging and demanding industry with super high standards. Sometimes you need to suffer to accomplish a task and become a better engineer! Not enough people to handle everything.

Pros

- Friendly coworkers - Nice lunch made by pro chef - Company is growing at a good pace - Company provides support for day-to-day life tasks in Japan, very helpful.

Cons

- Everything in the office is a garish orange colour, its not a good look. Learn how to use accent colours. - Per diem for travel is a joke, the lowest among all my peers in tech & robotics in Tokyo. Management likes to boast that we meet the "average" per diem for companies in Tokyo. Is Mujin just an "average" company then? - Management is reactionary instead of proactive. Plans change in a moment's notice, management says we're being "agile" but really it is due to lack of a real product roadmap or long-term planning. The top executive leadership has minimal previous C-level experience in other companies and it shows. - Documentation is also a joke, we are expected to find information by searching the internal chat application instead of using a real knowledge base software. - Head office is in the middle of nowhere (by Tokyo standards), not near any of the city centres. - Talented engineers who've been with the company a long time were made team leads, but their engineering skills do not always translate into competent people management and motivating leadership skills.

Pros

- Room for direct impacting the intelligent robot technology - Challenging and dynamic environment with motivated people thinking hard - Room for digging and learning the code of different subsystems that composes the distinct Mujin robotic intelligent system - Good work environment and flexibility

Cons

- Not enough people to supply the increasing demand - Company transiting between small size company to medium/large size company: there are lots to do but infrastructure is still not enough - Inherent necessity for constant and intense self management and pro-activity for things to work, due to the nature of the company (startup like)
