Pros

Good design experience with CAD and production products. Interesting day-to-day routines, not all just computer work. Good breadth of exposure to different products, and their particular requirements.

Cons

Engineering department is organized with only one level of engineer. No clear progression towards a 'senior' engineering position, other than the management positions which are already fulfilled.

There's everything in 25000 square feet. Prototype, design, analysis, testing, composites department, motorsports department, robotic welding and sheet metal cutting, big CNCs and presses. Good for entry level, don't stay there too long. You learn a LOT

Work like a dog and it's hot on the shop floor
