Pros
- It's a great place to gain a lot of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. - has decent benefits - a place to really hone your skills in fabrication and manufacturing.
Cons
- Long hours - OT is almost always expected - Underpaid for the responsibilities your are given (because there is so much work to do and not enough people to fulfil the task, people who are inexperienced get thrown in to do things that require a lot of training) - Not the best retirement plan (handshake and a poster plus whatever you saved up in RRSP and company contribution) - a lot of people leave after they've gained experience there and find better paying jobs for the same position.
