Pros

Coming to this company from a much larger organization I was uncertain of what to expect. I have been pleasantly surprised. The employee population at this company seem to genuinely enjoy their work and it is reflected in the culture.. The company does more little things for its employees than I can list. This company is a throw back to how companies used to treat their employees. People come first at Musco Profit-Sharing! Free beverages Work-Life Balance Privately held company Great Benefits--low cost and great coverage

Cons

Nothing really stand out, truly blessed to work here

Pros

Musco is the market leader in sports lighting. Musco has an 80%+ of the market share and that puts us in a great position. Very stable company with a family friendly environment. Yearly appreciation luncheons, profit sharing, summer picnics, Christmas parties, random little things that are nice perks. Super nice place to work with some of the best people you'll meet.

Cons

Salaries are far below market level. They're really the only show in Oskaloosa and seem to think that allows them to pay below market level. Many, many high-quality team members with lots of years of experience have been lost simply due to realizing the salary issue was not going to change. Many managers are not real leaders, but are given positions "by default" for having put in the most time. Product is an incredible piece of innovation. Departmental management is anything but modern or inspiring. Very flat corporate structure; no real room for advancement.
