Ok starting job, definitely not a place to stay for a career

Pros

Good place to start if you have never done sales in your life before. I came out feeling that I at least learned that from the job. Online trainings were usefull to an extent. The team that I personally worked with was excellent and very helpful in getting someone started.

Cons

Hard to reach sales goals to recieve comission at times. The location that I worked at in particular was a low traffic area, so this definitely played a part. Team culture at each location also varies. Quality of the different managers also vary. Support for each location also varied. Also, they need a better system to keep track of items moving from store to store.

Pros

Improved my sales skills, gave me trainings (e.g. Apple Masters Program) that allowed me to help people more in deciding what to buy, decent hourly pay, placed me in a favorable location (proximity wise)

Cons

Hard to achieve sales targets to be qualified for commission (but this was given the location), team culture differs from location to location (sometimes store is full of team players, sometimes store full of "sharks"), Slow response on intention to move into other roles, if there was intent.

Fun work environment that's about it Co workers are really friendly

Cons

Horrible management Crazy expectations Their hire fire rate is through the roof Too many rules to get your commission If you quit they tell you, you have to wait 6months for your commission check, truth is you're gonna have fight for it, with a lawyer or through the workforce. Management makes up their own rules that don't follow policy and then you get in trouble for it
