Pros

I love the community we serve at MidMichigan Health Midland. Our patients are amazing people and it is my pleasure to help take care of them. The equipment I use is current. Greg Rogers is an outstanding leader. My wage compared to my position at other hospitals in the area is higher. I choose to stay positive and demonstrate the values of the MidMichigan Health.

Cons

Staffing seems to be an issue because levels are kept at a minimum. Therefore employees burn out and high turnover takes place.

Pros

I enjoy working with patient's and their families with emotional/practical support and resources. I also enjoy working with the staff in my department and the positive atmosphere of the hospital in general. I also have the opportunity to learn and coordinate with community agencies to assist patient's and their families obtain practical resources to alleviate some of the stressors our patient's encounter during an illness.

Cons

There are always cons and coworkers who are difficult to work with, however staying focused on a mission of providing excellent care to the families we serve supersede the "cons" in my opinion.

I like that MidMichigan has accumulating paid time off and teamwork. I work with a great team and we all work together to provide excellent patient experience.

Cons

I think MidMichigan should have childcare here on campus.
