Pros
I've been employed by NAPA for 18 years. I didn't know if I was making the correct decision at the time. Now I doubt I'll choose to work for any other company. NAPA is an incredibly strong brand that continues to grow year after year. The company treats people fairly, pays a competitive wage, offers a strong benefit package and gives their associates the ability to grow and succeed. The associates obligation is the will to work. Those who do have unique opportunities come their way. A person can start at a line level position with this company and still work his/her way to the top. There are also some innovative trainee programs in place to launch significant careers. I've watched my company grow and evolve over a number of years. I've personally been pleased with the progress and I continually appreciate the opportunities that I have been afforded.
Cons
The culture can progress on the slow side as the company is very large and steeped in old traditions.
