Pros

I worked in an independently owned associate store, so this only really applies to the Drayton Valley group. Overall working for them was great. The brothers are good at what they do and treat employees very well, pay is above average and hours are within the norm. They invest in their company and it shows.

Cons

The labour pool for qualified, competent employees is small and competitive. Some of your co-workers may be special or just unsuitable for the parts business. The store manager I had was incredibly insecure and childish, expect tantrums and fits over non job related tasks.
