Pros

Ability to work from home and onsite Generous sick and annual leave Some managers are good and many people are fantastic to work with

Cons

Employee happiness completely dependent on whether their direct manager is toxic. No way to raise issues if they are awful. Diversity in gender and race have not improved in the past decade because all efforts are all talk and no tangible action. Employees went from stressed out to now concerned about burnout on the annual survey and the issues are shrugged off Resources to get work done are ignored if requested, and employees become a “problem” when they speak up The toxic culture outweighs the cool mission unfortunately.
