      Pros

      A wonderful, laid back, supportive place doing all kinds of incredibly interesting science.

      Cons

      NASA Ames isn't the most social workplace, and the geographic location it is in means that many people drive many miles in different directions to go home -- so there isn't much of a sense of community, particularly for younger scientists like myself.

      Pros

      Interesting work and the location is really amazing. Laid back work environment with a small team.

      Cons

      The facility is aging so it requires maintenance and repair of old equipment. Since it's a small operation, there isn't a lot of room for advancement.
