      Work itself is good, everything else - not so much.

      Pros

      Projects are exciting. The work itself is engaging. Good safety culture.

      Cons

      No room for growth. Management only seems to care about business, and not the operations crew. Salary is a comedic for this area. Standardized documentation and procedures are lacking. Implementing change or requesting to use current "industry standard" software is a large challenge. Benefits are okay, but not as great as most people assume.

      -Work on compelling projects -You truly learn SO much from this program -I feel like as an early researcher you end up taking the most from these programs

      Cons

      -Unfortunately, even though intentions are good for the program. I really don't think that a lot of change actually comes from these projects. They are short term, and in the end it is up to partners to implement changes or research the topics further, so I'm afraid that due to the quick turnaround.. Most of the time. there is no true outcome from the projects. -It's more about the image and ideas, rather than the actual quality of research -caps at 29/hrs per week for pay... But in reality you end up working more hours. It is tough to do this program and work another job. I was barely making enough money to get by.
