Pros

The research campus is similar to a large university with a lot of freedom for innovation.

Cons

The location isn't the best in the United States, but there is a beach not too far away.

Pros

-Employees have a love for the organization and its mission. Creates a very positive work environment. -Generous teleworking policy. Depending on your position it can be as much as 5 days. I had 3 days of teleworking per week. -Very organized and systematic organization. This might not seem like a big plus, but for a government agency - it is.

Cons

-Still have to deal with the inadequacies and inefficiencies of government. Certain tasks can take much longer than necessary to complete. -Not a very diverse workforce. Specifically with regards to age. Most employees are mid to late career.
