Pros

There is no agency like it. Rich in history and with a renewed focus on Mars exploration it is an exciting time to work for NASA

Cons

There are a lot of folks who have worked there 30, 40, 50 years. I am all for historical knowledge BUT it seems like very little is expected from these employees. With these employees holding higher GS level billets, lower level employees are expected to pick up all the slack which in turn drives younger employees away. Time there doesn't translate into great work.

Pros

My project manager was very helpful and patient with me. I was in school at the time, and the hours was somewhat flexible. A lot of times I had to ask my mentor for help, but that was part of the learning process.

Cons

Not many cons. Only thing that comes to mind is that projects were a bit disorganized, and I had no clear goal.
