Pros

Pay and exciting mission. Enjoy touring different work areas and meeting some of the employees, particularly scientists.

Cons

Scientists and other professionals are not treated as equals by engineers, particularly those who graduated from Auburn. Some of the other professions required just as much, if not more study and research than engineers. Yet, engineers are the only employees who are valued, and they bully all the other professionals.

Cons

Workload is unmanageable because people are expected to take on multiple portfolios which ought to be multiple jobs

Pros

People are generally impressed when they hear you work for NASA. Unless they have worked for NASA before or know about the engineering industry

Cons

Most people come here to end their careers. It is slow. Most people are either lazy or generally incompetent. It's no secret NASA doesn't attract the brightest talent.
