      Pros

      The pay, holidays off, insurance, typical 40 hour work week.

      Cons

      Horrid management at every level. Also, way too many levels of management. I'm not sure what half the managers do. Something you could normally do in a day yourself working in private industry takes weeks, or even months to achieve. Probably the worst micromanagement I've ever seen. Get treated like a little kid. Also, management typically has no experience in construction or anything related to it. I'm not sure how this place stays afloat.

      Pros

      Paycheck and benefits only good thing.

      Cons

      Management is horrible all the way up. Very condescending, micromanaging, and vindictive. And they have been doing it for years. EEO complaints take forever, and the employees usually get another job before anything is done to management. Management will never retire, so the same things keep happening. Stay far away from this small office.

      Pros

      Government benefits is top notch. The workload is never too demanding. Every other Friday off, workout during lunch and easy job scope.

      Cons

      Many of the employees have been there forever! They have gotten extremely complacent and it would take an act of God to get them fired for their laziness. Not much upward mobility within the position but it is a solid start to get into the door.
