      Good work environment. Usually one can handle the work load and good relationship with contractors as well.

      Pros

      Make my own schedule. Personal things can get done also if you have kids with appointments. Gym time also can be done during lunch as long as work is finished or will be done at end of day. Very smooth work environment.

      Cons

      Lots of work. Very undermanned. Work can be stressful at times because multiple projects will come your way all at once, and you have to catch up with all the submittals and make sure you're organized or you will be completely lost in your job.

      Pros

      There are lots of opportunities for challenging assignments and you can travel the world without changing employers. The benefits can't be beat in the private sector, except for the pay.

      Cons

      The government is behind the times on technology and every year there are concerns over government shutdowns and furloughs. The security isn't there anymore, although you also are still unlikely to lose your job.
