Reasonable benefits, industry design leaders, encouragement and some capacity given to explore your interests. A growing international firm, providing collaboration with peers.

Cons

Work-life balance is heavily tilted to work. Leadership is concerned with the firm's image more than taking care of its employees.

Forward thinking, but need to back up the hype

Pros

Possible life work balance. But let's be serious, anyone wanting to be forward thinking and progressive has to sacrifice time for great work. Good benefits. They really care about the staff. It is a company built for self-starters. If you're entrepreneurial, you will do well here.

Cons

the consistency of design work varies from office to office, and even within the studio. Much of this can have to do with market sectors, but for the most part if a project has one of the strong design leaders in charge (especially the NY Design Principal), it's going to be a good project.

The work being done is great, the bar is set much higher than at many other local firms. The size of the company means that travel and opportunities to transfer are available.

Cons

The lack of career development and morale is frustrating. A lot of energy is expended on unnecessary activities while projects go on under staffed.
