Pros

The people, the brand recognition, and the work itself. I’ve always been proud to say I work at NBCU and have invested a lot in the company’s success. The people that work here are truly the best in the business!

Cons

Promotion cycles and compensation don’t always reflect performance due to rigid HR structures. Recurring annual layoffs create significant morale dips, increased workload, and ongoing bandwidth strain without corresponding pay adjustments. Additionally, layoffs often result in new responsibilities and sometimes even an entirely new role assigned without employee input. Advancement opportunities are limited, and promotion often requires leaving your current team rather than growing within it.
