Pros

Bank holidays, M-F 8 to 5, sick time, and a small company with room to grow

Cons

Uneducated upper management and poor training for everyone. Upper management singles people out and will punish one person but let another get away with the same offense. Very inefficient processes and upper management has no idea what six sigma or kaizen is. They don't even care to learn. Very low budget for anything. You won't get paid for going to mixers, answering emails, or calls after hours. They can't keep or find good people so you will be working with some people of poor character.

Pros

The people; the people we work with on a daily basis truly help make the work environment. My current supervisor is amazing, she is extremely busy, but always makes time for questions. She is great to work for and a true asset to the company.

Cons

My previous supervisor made me question the company entirely. He did not provide any guidance to systems, and his way was always 'the way'. Thankfully there were people in the organization who wanted to help.

Pros

- I have been given a lot of autonomy within my role compared to what most competitors would give. - I have been able to advance my career much faster than if I worked at most other financial institutions. - Pretty strong team atmosphere for the most part with peers.

Cons

- Too many to mention regarding the operational functionality of the company. - Most decisions corporately seem to be reactionary in regards to things that affect the associates and clients. I feel this is pretty unfortunate for a financial institution. - I was asked to leave an honest review and to mention the positive things that I see in the company in order to boost the profile of the company on Glassdoor and Indeed. I personally disagree with this method of reputation building. - Competition pays on average 24,000 per associate per quarter while the bank pays 18,000 per associate per quarter according to earnings releases. Within the same reports, the earnings per share have doubled and shareholders are receiving dividend payouts.
