      Pros

      The training is good when you get round to doing it, started with a good base salary and was progressed very quickly once they realised the potential

      Cons

      When changing roles the salary didnt reflect although this has since been recitified, too many company changes, alot of people seeking employment elsewhere

      Pros

      NCC Group has one of the best portfolios of clients among companies providing security professional services. As such security engineers there will be exposed to the latest a greatest, the new and the cutting edge. It is one of the best places to gain exposure to relevant technology and influential professionals in the security industry.

      Cons

      Consulting can be a grind. Engagements that last 2 to 6 weeks on average chained together finding the same or similar security issues can be a drag.

      Worked during the time "Web performance was part of NCC" - it had a legacy product and making once small change required lots of bureaucratic process. The worse thing was a people. You will get humiliated & insulted in front of everyone for making a small mistake. Most of the time I felt as if I was working in a butcher shop rather than IT department. Every week there was at least one resignation and people working were not friendly. Linux terminal has much more sense of humour, then people next to you. Favouritism
