Pros

Weekly breakfast on Fridays, a better bonus program than I have received at other companies, recognition from executive teams for hard work, and more. Our team is incredibly diverse with a group of team members coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. Lots of room for advancement if you are willing to put in the effort. Leadership allows you to run with your ideas and will support you every step of the way. I have worked in start ups and large organizations across the silicon valley and I am absolutely thrilled to work for NETGEAR. Another great benefit is that your personal insurance (employee only) is covered by the organization as long as you complete a few simple objectives for health!

Cons

401k is pretty decent, but matching could be improved a bit. I wouldn't say that NETGEAR is the best "first job" type of place. Employees here tend to be more seasoned so expectations are higher than other places.

Pros

1 year later and I still feel so lucky to work here! The Senior Marketing Management & Executive leadership team supports me and constantly pushes me to grow. My goals and the goals of my teammates are clear, and we are encouraged to help each other and teach each other along the way. Opportunities feel endless here, there is always something new and exciting to work on around the corner. Working here is down right amazing and I’m grateful to be a part of the NETGEAR family.

Cons

There is a lot of variety of work at NETGEAR which can make things exciting.

Pros

The company has a good name in terms of branding for it's routers.

Cons

As soon as you are hired, expect to be laid off any second. Because of this lack of security, there is little room to grow.
