Very top down managed
The CEO wrote a book called "lean but not mean". Sounds great right. However, there has been a hiring freeze for many years now and this is a disaster for satellite offices (acquired). People are leaving left and right, which is very demotivating. For each person leaving they replace the position with people in our China office.
I have been vocal about these issues and because of this management shuns me.
There is opportunity to create new verticals but all energy is put into consolidating products and selling more of the same stuff to existing customers.
I spend 10+ years at this company and normally we write people a goodbye card on their last day. No such thing on my last day. My manager was out of town and did not properly organize my last day. Confirming my reasons to jump this sinking ship.
