Shady Corporate Culture

Pros

There is always something new to learn. You're coworkers are awesome.

Cons

Horrible corporate culture. Your talents WILL be exploited. The turnover rate is HIGH, which means the team is constantly taking on more work. No matter how much work you take on, don't expect a raise. You will be offered opportunities to "learn and grow" but will never receive a higher salary, even if your job title changes. This is the revolving door of NFP. Every coworker at my location who quit had experienced this exact process. The HR is centralized, and their focus is to protect the company NOT you. Case and point is the copied and pasted responses on all the negative reviews of NFP on glassdoor. Don't work here.

Thank you for taking the time to review NFP on Glassdoor. We agree we've got awesome employees and try to encourage all of us to grow and learn each day. We're disappointed to read of your experience working here as we pride ourselves on our PeopleFirst culture. COVID-19 has brought challenges to the business and we’ve worked hard to support our employees during this time. With over 300 offices across the U.S., Canada and the U.K., we do have a dedicated team of HR Business Partners who support all of our 5,700 employees. It can be difficult to resolve issues employees are experiencing without understanding where they work. I personally would welcome the opportunity to understand your concerns and experience with HR support if you’re comfortable reaching out to me. -Mary Steed, Chief People Officer

Pros

Staff is talented, fun, and hardworking.

Cons

Salaries are not very competitive. Communication from executive level about company status during COVID-19 was deceptively positive, neglecting forthcoming layoffs and cancellations of previously approved raises and promotions.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry to hear you feel NFP’s communication about the company status during COVID-19 wasn't forthright. These are unusual circumstances and NFP tried its best to deliver communication accurately and timely to our employees. We recognize that we may not be perfect, but we respect the value of our relationship with our employees and are open to their feedback. Having said this, we always encourage our employees to speak to their respective Business Leader, HR Business Partner or emailing us at humanresources [at] nfp [dot] com.
