Pros

Great pay & benefits, flexible work/life balance, work from home capabilities, CEO really seems to care about employees and social values, reasonable work load

Cons

In this particular office, there were two individuals (boss & co worker) that loved to belittle others. No accountability whatsoever for the office bully. Just had to deal with being a punching bag whenever the office bully was in a bad mood (which was more often than not). Boss would gossip to employees about other employees. The stress of it affected mental health & work. Loved the company as a whole, but this specific location was the complete polar opposite of company culture & values. Toxic & hostile environment. Absolutely zero training provided yet perfection demanded.

Pros

My immediate supervisor fought for our department to get raises and bonuses. He demanded a lot from us but was fair.

Cons

The company as a whole does not care in the least about the employees. The 401k match is abysmal, the vacation plan is scant, the benefits are woeful. They don’t have any interest in writing quality accounts; they only care about the bottom line. You are forced to write whatever JUNK business you can scramble together then waste unlimited time and money trying to keep those terrible accounts. They don’t seem to understand that writing bigger, better, income-producing accounts is far more profitable than just writing mountains of garbage.

Pros

Company has great room for job growth, benefits, and additional job perks such as gym access, rewards for exercise points, and company events.

Cons

The Aliso viejo location advertised itself as welcoming and eager to help their employees grow, and on the first day this all seemed true. By the second day, if you didn't establish yourself in a clique then you were basically alone. My boss didn't believe in second chances, and after making one mistake (that wasn't entirely my fault), my job was threatened. My boss treated me as if I was incompetent and frankly like a child who couldn't comprehend verbal instructions. Needless to say I left that toxic environment.
