Pros

NFP has fairly good benefits. They are developing a quality assurance program to deliver better customer service to the reps. There are some opportunities to change positions and advance, especially for new, low experienced and low paid individuals.

Cons

There is big lack of cross training, detailed job description and documentation. When an individual leaves their position a lot of processes and knowledge is lost. Turn over is fairly high.

Well, at least you get paid for showing up.

Cons

Unfortunately, the company has not developed an identity. it is all about delivering short-term results. For all the talk about a customer centric culture and team work, the company is actually centered around individual relationships, not a sustained culture of success. Employees are a utility and little is done to engage them as part of the broader picture.

Pros

There are a lot of really nice people there who will allow you to take on new projects and responsibilities if you ask for it. Work-life balance is good compared to other companies. They pay for you to get numerous FINRA licenses.

Cons

Unless you are willing to wait 5 to 10 years for someone to retire or move on, there isn't much growth opportunity. Certain managers are dead weight and allowed to stay that way, which really impacts morale.
