      The people I worked with were nice. I made some good friends.

      Cons

      I was hired in as salary and then they changed all of customer service to hourly. Wage freeze the whole time I worked there. No opportunity for advancement unless you were preselected by Alice. They restricted what you could order from food vendors. No regular pop in vending machines, only diet. They didn't have a Christmas party, it was a "Yes I'd love to" party by invitation only for those willing to sell their soul to the devil. People in positions without proper training or skills because they are on her list. Those truly qualified passed up as a result.

      Pros? I guess the only pros I can think of is if you keep your head down, don't make waves, and don't upset "her" or her "people" you can make a mediocre existence.

      Cons

      Where to begin........ There is ZERO leadership at the plant level. General Managers live in constant fear for their jobs, and in constant t fear that "she" will send her hatchet man to their location to do an "investigation". I worked at NIBCO for six years, it was an absolute waste of my time. It did nothing for my professional development, in fact when most people see it on my resume they lift their eyebrow and ask how I managed to survive. I worked with some great people, some people who just focused on keeping their heads down and some real idiots. The culture of fear is real, and I have absolutely no doubt that the positive reviews on this site are from "her" and her people. If you doubt the reviews, look at how many jobs they have available, find someone who works there and speak to them. It's a truly sad situation.

      Where do I begin? Should I start with the fake employee reviews that have been put on this website (e.i. 3/31/15) or the crazy that goes on at this company? It is funny when I discuss my past employers... I always get crazy looks when I say I worked at NIBCO. I've had people ask me... how long were you able to last? or is SHE still running the show? I haven't heard any good comments from local people. I wish I would have heard these things BEFORE I took the position. This company is Nepotism at it's finest! If you are not a brown noser and are not willing to throw your ethics and morals to the side.... you will NOT make it!
