Losing competitive edge and and lack of investment

A good portfolio of historically acquired clients makes for credibility in the market. Some good staff benefits on birthdays, casual Fridays etc and good offices.
Cons
New disruptive competitors have/are eroding the historical #1 position because the company has woefully underfunded product development and consequently has lost its position as thought leader. This is acutely so in EMEA where local legislative requirements have been ignored in favour of sorting US requirements. The sales controls and management of the NICE holding company (with different sales cycles and requirements) are being imposed down in to Actimize for the sake of global consistency, but it ignores the important differences and becomes managing the statistics rather than managing the sales cycle. The impact is that many staff in EMEA feel that our needs are not being listened to or catered for in a drive to get a NASDAQ price at all costs
