Pros

It is a helpful and friendly environment. Good work-life balance within corporate side.

Cons

The company lacks professionalism. My experience here was all over the place, it was highly unorganized.

Pros

Friendly work place, nothing else

Cons

Intel Offer is said to be the "recommended amount" and will lower the pay prior to start date. Takes advantage of a young work force.

Pros

*The work affects real people and is fulfilling in that respect. *Some supervisors/managers are kind and willing to listen to feedback. *Most people in my department are fun to work with. *Quarterly bonuses rather than yearly. *You can wear sweats to work, have rainbow hair and tattoos. It doesn't matter what you look like as long as you are qualified to do the work.

Cons

*The entire process of getting a sample out of the lab has way too many steps and people involved. For a company that likes to say they follow Lean Six Sigma, it's a joke. *Management as a whole will not listen to your concerns. And if they do listen, they will do nothing about them. Don't waste your time trying to make anything better. *Management (at least in my department) tends to pick favorites. You will be told to your face that certain accommodations cannot be met due to department needs but then 3 other people will somehow have what you asked for within the next few months. (Schedule changes, remote work, etc.) *Pay is well below what it should be for the work and time required. *You will learn your department's instrumentation (most only have 1-2) and that's it. Don't try to cross-train in other departments: you will be waiting months to get training scheduled and then you will never use that instrument again. They want everyone to know their one little cog in the giant machine and no one had better get any ideas about expanding their capabilities beyond that. They like to say you can move around the company, but it's all a lie. Unless you are a favorite, you can forget leaving your bubble. *Safety is a joke. They might have you in the lab prepping alone, especially on weekends and third shift.
