      Pros

      I've been employed for a year. Excellent company, whose manager (most of them) value not only knowledge and experience but also pay attention to potentiality of the potential employees/candidates. All of trust in employees capabilities. A lot of freedom to create. My boss encouraged me to creat and changes things to better. A lot of opportunities.

      Cons

      "Pound of flesh" company, but it is not a even a cons when you are appreciated by your management. Have to be prepared to work 24/7. Work/life balance is major problem of all NOV employees.

      Pros

      Very generous with work hours when there are projects.

      Cons

      Not very good in dealing with diversification. Color is always an issue. They will screw you with benefits and increases. You better be buddies or of the same color with the boss to get a hefty raise.

      Pros

      Fast-paced environment, where you are encouraged to continue developing yourself. I have excellent management who gave you the resources needed to help you succeed. The corporate environment provided excellent work/life balance if you knew your job and did it well. Unfortunately, the market dictates headcount, and we are on a major downturn.
