Unfortunately, my experience at NOV was very negative due to several issues with management. Some supervisors and team leaders demonstrated a lack of professionalism and responsibility in their roles. There was poor communication, inconsistent decision-making, and situations in which employees were treated unfairly. I was removed from my position without a clear or valid explanation, and simply for expressing personal concerns in a respectful manner. On one occasion, I was even threatened with involving the police without justification.
Despite always performing my job well, often exceeding expectations, and even being recognized as one of the standout employees of the month, my performance was overlooked. Instead, certain supervisors used inappropriate language toward employees, and decisions often felt personal rather than professional. In several cases, it seemed that if someone did not agree with a supervisor’s attitude, they were removed for reasons that felt more like retaliation than legitimate policy enforcement. Overall, the work environment was inconsistent, unprofessional, and not supportive of respectful communication. This experience took place at the NOV facility located at 5204 W County Rd 126, Midland, TX.
Additionally, I believe the company should improve its verification and documentation processes for employees. During my time there, I noticed situations that raised concerns about whether all hiring documentation was being thoroughly reviewed. If this issue is not addressed properly, it could potentially create serious risks for the company in the future if regulatory or immigration authorities were to investigate. Strengthening compliance procedures would protect both the organization and its workforce.
