      Pros

      Company monopolizes the oil and gas industry which means you will always have a job.

      Cons

      Complete lack of ethics, training & accountability. This company is so big it not only bullies other competitors and their suppliers, but also their own employees. It's also not what you know, it's who you know to get anywhere in this company regardless of your contributions.

      Pros

      Minimal oversight, travel pay, a good start for people who want to get into the oilfield. The work is often very easy with little complications.

      Cons

      Usually understaffed in the field. The work can be easy, but it can become very difficult with little support. Working as a righand, you have other workers to help you. In this position, however, you are usually working alone. Expect to buy most of your own tools and equipment.
