Micromanaging Hell

Pros

-Base Salary is decent -Fair Commission Structure -Ability to work remote -Depending on who your Partner is in the area you could get a decent person to work directly underneath

Cons

The company is terribly run. There is a revolving door on every side of the business. The company as a whole is cheap. Refusing to invest in the most basic technologies that every sales team needs in 2024. The company micromanages and tracks everything you do in the dumbest scoring system ever. They reward pointless networking events as much as getting sales then get mad when nobody on the sales team is closing deals. They force you to focus on the wrong activities. I have never seen a sales organization run this poorly. They make pointless weekly calls where upper management just yells at everyone, but they refuse to support the sales team and give any tools to help make deals. The company as a whole is doing bad and will continue if they go down this route.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate your recognition of our base salary, commission structure, and the remote work flexibility. We strive to create a supportive environment for our teams and are always looking for ways to improve. We do want to clarify that NOW CFO actively invests in tools and resources to support our sales teams, ensuring they have what they need to succeed in an evolving marketplace. Our focus on networking and relationship-building with key partners, such as CPAs and bankers, is an important part of our strategy. However, we will review your comments with our leadership to ensure we're aligning our efforts to better serve our employees and clients. Additionally, our company-wide turnover is currently the lowest it’s ever been, and we now have the largest team in our company’s history, reflecting our commitment to building a strong, supportive environment. We value your feedback and will take it into consideration as we continue to evolve and improve.

Okay, but not great

Pros

Flexible schedule as long as client needs are met

Cons

PTO for full-time, but not exempt, staff is not exactly what it seems since they only accrue PTO on hours worked and can only reach the amount listed in the handbook if you work 40 hours per week.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you appreciate the flexibility we offer as part of our commitment to work-life balance. Regarding PTO, we follow an accrual system based on hours worked to ensure it's aligned with full-time staff schedules, only for our hourly employees, and we appreciate your perspective on how that may feel different in practice. We will continue to review our policies to ensure clarity and fairness for all team members. As for pricing, we agree that transparency with our clients is important, and we are always sure to notify our clients beforehand of any price increases.
