Pros

NPR makes an effort to ensure that Interns have meaningful work The Culture at NPR is extremely welcoming/inclusive. They care about their interns experience

Cons

Pay is currently DC's minimum wage which is $11.50/Hour. This makes it difficult as DC is an expensive city to live in and a lot of the interns come from across the country.

Pros

Established in industry with "positive" reputation. Decent benefits and salaries. Good energy levels and pleasant environment.

Cons

Really great at this time, if you're under 40...Seems to be biased in that manner. Tends to "post" positions (as required by law), however have already identified the candidate that will be chosen for the job.
