Pros

Working for a cause you try to believe in There are some good people trying to make it work

Cons

Tech workers are treated as second class citizens by “the talent” side of the org You will be punished and belittled for trying to effect positive change The job you are hired for is most likely not the job you will be doing Utter and complete lack of trust by higher ups Unprofessional behavior and broken promises by management Complete resignation to the status quo by many of the front line workers
