Beijing Office not so great

Pros

the opportunity to cover Asia is quite exciting, but the office is quite small, usually with one or two correspondents, so not so much office politics and lots of flexibilities to cover interesting stories in the region.

Cons

Sometimes it is hard when you can't really get along with your only colleague and the headquarter is too far and no effective evaluation process is in place.
