It's a job and you get paid.
Cons
It's like a sweatshop. Long hours, weekend work expected and working thru lunch. No social events other than charitable giving. Over the past few years, nearly all the employee team building events have been discontinued. More and more cuts to employee compensationcosts and fewer benefits. Medical going up 20% per year. Raises this year 2% while inflation running 7%. Discontinued stock bonus, profit sharing, free lunch, and other perks. The company is a very different place from 7-10 years ago and not in a good way.
