Pros
Very competent staff, NRG employees have excellent understanding of the energy industry and how to manage the business from a risk perspective - significant improvement from a business management perspective to the former management.
Cons
Human Resources is not focused on retaining or developing good employees. Several very competent employees have been let go and those who remain are severely overworked. Benefits from the old Reliant company have been cut and morale is extremely low.
