Pros
The prior management team in technology, product, data, and design were excellent. They hired great ICs, developed talent, and shipped quality work. The culture WAS excellent.
Cons
They fired / laid off all the good technology leaders. That led to a mass exodus after the execs hired an incompetent technology leader. If you are a prospective hire in engineering, design, product, or data and you are reading this review – I urge you to not join this company. You will not learn or grow here because this is NOT a technology company. The executives / owners have no understanding or basic competency in technology and are not capable of standing up a digital marketplace. This is why no serious tech VC firm will cut this company a check. If you are interested in building a video commerce platform, go work for a company like WhatNot. They are a legitimate technology company. If you are interested in working in the events, marketing, and retail sector for the streetwear industry – then this is probably a decent fit for you!
