Pros

Well structured development process Good physical infrastructure that resembles a star hotel Remotely located to focus on work Inspiring CEO

Cons

- Site is Lead by Joker that makes no sense when he talks (or shakes) - No appreciation for Job well done - Politics played by Senior Management - No Honesty in the "Intellectually Honest" tag line - Force India emps to be non-performers to fit the bell curve - Local management is not empowered Absolute no planning of work, day-to-day assignment, at most weekly, absolutely direction less. CEO has 4 years direction, emps have 8 hours direction. Exec staff, senior management has NO CLUE. Its always "I want you to do this, but again i might be wrong" by senior mgmt. Reviews are PCCed - Productivity, Capability, Culture. One Director says P = C+C, other says only 1 point increment every year. After PCC, every emp is ranked. How can you rank 5000 emps? most of india staff is ranked low. If you walk-on-water, you are rewarded with 1 point UP and paid to market. If you do your job well you are paid 60% of what market pays. Every year 5% attrition is forced in this way to bring new and cheap labor. Entire management including HR knows about incapable senior executives, but no action is taken since they are close to CEO, but emps are regularly pushed out in the name of PIP (performance improvement plan). Why this is not done for exec and senior management? Site leadership is a joke. leader is joker. Crystal clear communication (written and verbal) by CEO is also mis-interpreted and communicated. US centric, absolutely insensitive to local timings, meetings end by 2300hrs and start early!

Pros

Industry still ranks NVIDIA highly on resume

Cons

Majority of company hasn't seen a pay increase or bonus in 3 years. Instead, pay-cuts and removal of multiple employee incentives. Senior Execs have no clue on products being made and only remain in position because CEO is loyal to a fault. No career advancement, no compensation for exceptional achievements, and a pipeline of inferior products. Absolutely insane product schedules that get missed by several months seem to be a regular situation with products despite input from engineering giving ample notice and feedback to avoid in the future. Senior Execs stick head in sand and pretend nothing is wrong. If you're the one bringing up issues or highlighting a fault with a product, you get heckled despite company claims of valuing "intellectual honesty". NVDA still thinks it is a startup and runs accordingly. At the current size, that means total chaos with the occasional "lucky product" that saves the day.
