Pros

NVIDIA has some of the best talent in chip design industry. The work environment is full of energy. Strong focus on engineering - so as an engineer, you form the core of the company. The management is mostly honest and transparent. Very little b****s*** from management. Even senior people are hands on.

Cons

The schedule tends be quite hectic. Expectations are high and sometimes unrealistic. Fun mostly is absent from work. You come to office, work, go back home, work. No office outings. Sometimes work tends to get repetitive and boring.

Pros

There are many bright folks at Nvidia. Very consistent record of product deliverables. Cafeteria provides lunch up to $5 voucher. Good culture.

Cons

1) Several business units at Nvidia; two of the biggest being their GPU and MCP division. It is promoted as a GPU team by E-Staff. MCP is overlooked in many ways. 2) Current growth may be too fast for their own good. 3) AND ... YES, they do overwork folks. I've known many who have sacrificed there personal lives.
