Pros

-Flexible working hours. -Gem Engineers. -Ample of slack time to take another job:) or relaxing if you are not that ambititous -Good products -ESOP and RSUs.

Cons

- Bad Management. - Very limited Opportunities. - No Skill/Value enhancement. - No clear definition of career growth. - Ultimate Politics. - Lots of local policies prevail - tailored by local site leaders . - HR department almost non functional. I don't understand why nvidia has hired them either. - Employees not respected and rewarded well unless you are favourite of your manager, (going to smoke together would help you to become favourite) - Waste and spineless Managers. - Not so good pay. - you would be demotivated during appraisal saying you didn't do something great and hence no hike or promotion for you despite you have been doing all that was required.

Pros

Surrounded by lots of very smart people who are extremely passionate about their work. Challenging problems to work on. Dynamic work environment with rapidly-changing technical challenges and market conditions. Solid products that are easy to be proud of, and frequently products you would use yourself.

Cons

The company sells products to teenage boys, and sometimes this unfortunately carries over into allowing people (even managers, even senior management) to act like teenage boys on the job -- immature, male-dominated, sometimes bullying, low diversity. The deadlines can be very challenging, I'm not sure it's a great place for work/life balance.

Pros

Cutting edge technologies; great name recognition; a dynamic CEO and management team always coming up with new ideas to stay ahead of competition; pursuit of "green" ideals; enjoyable all-hands meetings every quarter; solid software architecture conceived from the start of the company, not patchy software modified haphazardly; smart peers; great products to be proud of; good availability of training materials and courses.

Cons

Too focused on graphics, although new technologies are being added to the company's arsenal: SoC, parallel computing, physics processing, etc; people may be unexpectedly loaned to different departments to redistribute resources as needed (exceptionally).
