Pros

Great work environment, good salary/benefits.

Cons

Management tends to focus on short term and not long term objectives - especially on costs.

Not a place to spend a career.

Pros

The people who have been around from when the company was Motorola/Freescale have allot of experience and have kept the company strong.

Cons

The current management is cutting cost by replacing experience with cheap labor. Their only motive is to make the numbers look good, sell the company and get their bonus. Not a recipe for long term sustained growth. The company also practices age discrimination in how they cleverly manage people out of the company. Get your experience and leave. There is no long term loyalty.

Pros

It is a pretty stable company to work for, salary is average to industry and benefits are good (above law requirements). Time flexibility and home office option are definitely some of the best "benefits"

Cons

Annual salary reviews are 5% top in average. Talent retention strategies are missing
